How to Get ID of Various Media Channels
Follow this tutorial, you will understand how to get your ID of various media channels to receive Alerts from BlockVision.

1. Telegram

You will understand how to obtain your Telegram ID for BlockVision Alert.
  1. 1.
    Download and install Telegram Desktop: https://desktop.telegram.org/ or use the web version https://web.telegram.org/.
  2. 2.
    Search for@blockvision_alert_bot:
  3. 3.
    Send /chat_id to the channel/group to get your Chat ID:
6. You should see a response in the channel that looks like this:
7. Copy and paste the Chat ID to get alerts from BlockVision.

2. Discord

  1. 1.
    Download and install Discord Desktop if you haven't through https://discord.com/download.
  2. 2.
    You must be an administrator of a Discord Server. If you don't have one, please create a new server by following the instructions here.
  3. 3.
    Right click on the server on the left panel, select Server Settings > Integrations:

    Select Webhooks:
  5. 5.
    Type in webhook Name, e.g. "BlockVision Notifications". Select a Channel. Save the Webhook and click the Copy Webhook URL button.
  6. 6.
    Copy and paste the Webhook URL to get alerts from BlockVision.

3. Slack

  1. 1.
    Follow the instructions here to obtain a Slack webhook URL.
  2. 2.
    Copy and paste the Webhook URL to get alerts from BlockVision.
